"Stowarzyszenie Kominy Polskie" (SKP) (Polish Chimneys Association) is now intesifying a nationawide campaign aimed at informing of safe and effective ways of drawing exhaust gases out of the heating devices. About the association

The Association "Kominy Polskie" is a nationwide non-profit organization. It was established in 1999 by the main producers of the chimney systems. Its main aim is to spread the knowledge about safe and effective way of drawing exhaust gases out of the heating devices.

The association tries to keep and transmit the image of the chimney systems branch as the active participant in the process of changes, that are aimed at improving the quality of life and safety of users in private apartments and industrial areas. The association consolidates the branch, represents its opinions and supports its key issues. It is also an advisory body in some legal and technological cases. SKP promotes the rules concerning designing, producing, installing and using the heating, chimney and venting systems.

The association's aims are executed in the form of specialized advising, trainings and instructions meant either for the producers or for the final users (the association takes part e.g. in the national program "Dom Przyjazny" (Friendly House) which is under the auspices of the Department of Building).

Please, feel invited to take advantage of our experiences and to take part in the association's activities. We hope that the strong support given to the memebers and friends of our association will help not only to promote safety, but also will help to consolidate the branch.
